Where's The Grief?

Death is an inevitable part of life, and yet it can be difficult and uncomfortable to talk about the process of grief amongst one's peers. This podcast helps shine some light into the darkest parts of our own existence and encourage a more open discussion about the effects of grief, and offers coping mechanisms to those suffering.

Where's the Grief?

A podcast focused on grief and loss hosted by Jordon Ferber

On the whole, many cultures do not teach us how to effectively deal with the feelings that come up when a loved one dies.

The goal of this podcast is to acknowledge the reality of intense grief , which can be a very isolating experience, and normalize the conversation about it that is very often difficult to have with friends and even family.

Jordon Ferber, a bereaved sibling himself, gives people who have experienced intense loss permission to talk about it and exemplify the possibility of  making it through the darkest periods of grief to a life full of hope and happiness.

In this episode, I sat down with comedian and recent author Kelly Lynn! Kelly's husband Don died of a sudden heart attack 7 years ago, and over the last 5 years, Kelly has been working on her newly published book about her loss, "My Husband is Not a Rainbow," Now available on Amazon and Kindle.

We talk about the importance of community, and how refreshing it is to normalize the ways we talk about grief and loss so that we can move forward. We also talk about how much humor there is in the process of grieving, and how laughing at the darkest parts of ourselves helps guide us back into the light.
