Where's the Grief?

A podcast focused on grief and loss hosted by Jordon Ferber

On the whole, many cultures do not teach us how to effectively deal with the feelings that come up when a loved one dies.

The goal of this podcast is to acknowledge the reality of intense grief , which can be a very isolating experience, and normalize the conversation about it that is very often difficult to have with friends and even family.

Jordon Ferber, a bereaved sibling himself, gives people who have experienced intense loss permission to talk about it and exemplify the possibility of  making it through the darkest periods of grief to a life full of hope and happiness.

This episode was a long time coming! Jordon Sits down with comedian Michael Sommerville to talk about the journey he's been on since the death of his brother Paul in 1997. As a baby, Paul had to undergo brain surgery, the complications of which ultimately led to his death. Now, almost 20 years later Michael felt like it was time to talk about it.

We talk about the importance of following your own path, and the ways in which priorities shift after a significant loss. We also talk about how to appreciate the little things along the way.
